  • What does the life mat include?

    When you buy a Life Mat, here is what you receive: two pieces* of foam + one zipped printed cover in the colour of your choice. Then simply slide the foam inserts into each side of your cover using the zips, and you're good to go!

Has your Mat and its fabric cover* just arrived? Here’s a little guide to follow before you use it for the first time (we promise it’s easy!)

*Did you order a mat with a waterproof cover? These instructions don’t apply. Don’t machine-wash it – a quick wipe with a sponge is all it needs!

Inside a super-handy tote bag you’ll find: the two foam pieces (or three if you ordered the king-size version) and the fabric cover in your chosen pattern.

Before you use it for the first time, machine-wash your mat cover at 30°C so it fits perfectly, then simply leave it to air-dry (no tumble dryer, but don’t worry – it dries really quickly!)

3.

Use the two zips on either side of the cover to slip in the two foam pieces… and you’re done!

From what age can you use the Life Mat?

Honestly? From birth to 99 years old!

Much more than a simple playmat, our life mat is designed to grow with your child and your family. Thanks to its modularity and activity covers, it adapts to every stage of life: early learning, motor skills, play, quiet time, an extra bed for sleepovers… Because ultimately, there's no age limit on comfort!

Is the Life Mat washable and does it have a removable cover?

Yes! The Mezamé mat cover comes off easily and can be machine washed at 30°C, keeping your mat fresh no matter how gloriously chaotic family life gets!

What sizes and formats are available?

Our life mat is available in two sizes: the Iconic in 120x120cm, perfect for a corner of the bedroom or living room, and the King Size in 120x180cm, offering more space, especially for several children or a generous room.

Already have the iconic size at home? You can size up by adding an extension.

What is the difference between your fabrics?

To help you choose, here is a summary of the textures:

Cotton: a "shirt fabric feel" for percales and a slightly textured/crinkled feel for seersucker vichy

Fleece: a "soft fleece feel"

Cotton / Linen: a "lightly textured cotton-linen blend feel"

Waterproof: a "leather-like feel"

Can you make the Life Mat bigger?

Yes, an extension measuring 60 x 120 cm can be added to the mat at any time, without having to buy the whole set again.

Are the foam and fabrics safe for baby?

Of course! We selected our foam with the help of early childhood professionals to ensure it meets babies' needs for developing motor skills.

And because babies' skin is ultra-sensitive, all our components are certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1 (the most demanding category for baby textiles), guaranteeing a composition free from harmful chemicals: phthalates, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, nickel...
